JOB SUMMARY:
The role will involve provision of health care in the context of Family Medicine in accordance with medical staff code of conduct and complete teaching and administrative tasks as assigned in accordance with institutional policies, rules and regulations
TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide patient care and management
• Liaison with various support department to provide appropriate and timely medical care
• Supervise and advice staff on patient management
• Perform any other clinical responsibilities, as assigned
ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Guide and actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and staff
• Actively participate in the educational activities and training programs of the department including, but not limited to, weekly core session and daily academic sessions
RESEARCH RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in clinical research projects; support and help with research activities
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in all mandatory departmental activities and serve on departmental committees, as required
• Undertake administrative duties assigned by Head of department
