Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Providing comprehensive medical services and  patient care in the assigned area by making appropriate assesement and diagnosis, performing common procedures as permitted in ethical manner and in accordance with defined protocols

6TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Patient care:

• Provide patient care and management
• Liaison with various support department to provide appropriate and timely medical care
• Supervise and advice staff on patient management
• Perform basic procedures as permitted as per institutional expectations in the specified clinic/site
• Perform any other clinical responsibilities, as assigned

• Academic responsibilities:
• Continue work towards enhancing competencies in clinical setting under supervision of consultant and other faculty and staff
• Participitate in educational activities such as CMEs ,journal clubs,grand rounds ,where applicable
• Work with nursing and paramedical staff as a member of the patient care team

• Admisitritive responsibilities
• Support department in clinical audits, reports, protocol development and other administrative activities to ensure smooth provision of services
• Any other task as assigned by Head of the Department
