Job Description
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Responsible to execute all guidelines of the fire and safety management.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Federal and Provincial rules and regulation regarding fire safety.
- Responsible to inspect all fire safety equipment at the campus and ensure that all the equipment is up to date and in perfect working conditions.
- Responsible to maintain all data of fire safety equipment.
- Ensure that Fire Alarm and detection systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers are appropriately located and properly maintained.
- Assist the Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager in the development and implementation of emergency response plans, conduct fire drills and train staff on fire safety protocols.
- Ensure that the hospital staff is appropriately trained in fire safety procedures.
- Respond to fire alarms and other emergency situations, providing leadership in managing the incident.
- Supervise fire safety personnel and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Document fire incidents, inspection findings, and corrective actions, reporting them to the Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager.
- Maintain clear communication with security staff, management, and other relevant parties regarding security matters.
- Develop and implement monthly duty roster and schedule.
- Manage leaves and schedules of staff; maintain attendance.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or by the Head of Department.
