Job Description

​Job Responsibilities:

• Code Inpatient/Outpatient and day care discharges using coding classification and TIH guidelines.
• Prepare standard reports from coded/abstract data provided under the supervision of coding Assistant Manager.
• Participates in client audit meetings to enhance accuracy of coding and rectifies anomalies in the existing abstract.
• Update histopathalogy of coded charts daily.
• Monthly update daycare and inpatient discharges reports
• Monthly update discharges report on the basis of specialty.
• Trace and code all medical record folders that were not coded on every next day.
• Trace and code backlog discharges.
• Any other task that is assigned by the Head/Assistant Manager coding.
