Job Description
- Assist clinical laboratory staff in routine non-technical tasks.
- Transport specimens, reports, and materials from collection area to laboratory.
- Support phlebotomy and sample collection areas as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of laboratory areas, benches, and equipment surfaces.
- Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste as per infection control guidelines.
- Assist in cleaning and sterilization of laboratory glassware and tools.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing laboratory supplies.
- Help in arranging and organizing laboratory storage areas.
- Follow laboratory safety, biosafety, and infection control procedures.
- Use PPE appropriately and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report spills, breakages, or safety hazards immediately.
- Support laboratory staff during peak workload and emergencies.
- Periodic cleaning of refrigerators & Freezers.
- Perform duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
