Job Description
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate stock levels of both general and medical items.
- Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of all incoming goods.
- Ensure proper storage of items as per category (temperature control for medicines, segregation of consumables, etc.).
- Regularly update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System or Manual Stock Registers.
- Conduct physical stock counts periodically (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Issuance & Receiving:
- Issue items to departments as per approved requisitions and consumption norms.
- Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward stock movement.
- Ensure First Expiry First Out (FEFO) / First In First Out (FIFO) principles are followed, especially for medical inventory.
Compliance & Record Keeping:
- Ensure all warehousing operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Keep documentation ready for audits and inspections.
- Manage batch numbers, expiry dates, and lot tracking for pharmaceutical inventory.
Coordination:
- Coordinate with procurement, pharmacy, and administration teams for stock replenishment.
- Liaise with transport and logistics teams to manage deliveries and dispatches.
