Job Description
- Transport instruments, supplies, medications, and documents between OR, wards, CSSD, labs, and stores.
- Support OR and clinical teams by responding promptly to urgent requests.
- Assist in patient transfer under supervision when required.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Communicate effectively with OR staff, nursing, and support departments.
- Report delays, shortages, or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Support basic area readiness by assisting with non-clinical tasks.
- Ensure corridors and designated pathways are kept clear and organized.
- Assist during emergency situations as directed.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols strictly.
- Ensure proper handling of sterile and contaminated items.
- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
