Job Description
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ER, ICU, or specialty units as assigned.
- Propose a diagnosis based on history, examination, laboratory and imaging data.
- Develop and implement treatment plans under Consultant supervision.
- Perform clinical procedures within scope of training, specialty and the limits of credentialing granted by the IHHN.
Participate in ward rounds and case discussions; ensure timely and accurate patient documentation.
- Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations. escalate complex cases to Consultants appropriately.
Provide on-call coverage as per duty roster.
- Provide clinical guidance and ensure adherence with hospital clinical guidelines and SOPs.
- Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings as guided.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Engage with other teams to facilitate high quality care and improve patient experience.
- Participate in CME, research initiatives and case presentations for capacity building at the workplace.
- Receive ongoing training to maintain essential certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, ATLS).
