Job Description

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ER, ICU, or specialty units as assigned. 
  • Propose a diagnosis based on history, examination, laboratory and imaging data. 
  • Develop and implement treatment plans under Consultant supervision.
  • Perform clinical procedures within scope of training, specialty and the limits of credentialing granted by the IHHN. Participate in ward rounds and case discussions; ensure timely and accurate patient documentation.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations. escalate complex cases to Consultants appropriately. Provide on-call coverage as per duty roster.
  • Provide clinical guidance and ensure adherence with hospital clinical guidelines and SOPs. 
  • Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings as guided. 
  • Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards. 
  • Engage with other teams to facilitate high quality care and improve patient experience.
  • Participate in CME, research initiatives and case presentations for capacity building at the workplace. 
  • Receive ongoing training to maintain essential certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, ATLS).
