Job Description

Summary

Indus Hospital & Health Network is looking for a skilled Boiler Operator to join our Facilities Management team. You will be responsible for the smooth operation, repair, and maintenance of our boilers and their associated equipment in the Boiler Plant, helping ensure reliable service to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate boilers and related equipment effectively, efficiently, and safely, and monitor boiler parameters, equipment performance, and plant conditions to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Maintain accurate shift logbooks, record operating parameters, and hand over plant status and pending issues to the incoming shift.
• Carry out repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure trouble-free operation.
• Coordinate with Engineers on the operation and maintenance requirements of plant room equipment.
• Follow safety standards, rules, and regulations during boiler operation, eliminate potential hazards, and implement the Plant Safety Program.
• Ensure proper consumption of water, fuel, gas, and chemicals to keep energy consumption to a minimum and chemical treatment effective.

Skills Required

• Sound technical knowledge of safety requirements for boiler operations
• Familiarity with electrical controls related to boilers and associated accessories
