Job Description

 TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

 

  • Provide comprehensive operational support across all project/program phases, including executing technical, programmatic, and administrative tasks to facilitate smooth program/project implementation and compliance with organizational protocols.
  • Develop and maintain the program/project work plan, progress reports, and ensure timely sharing with donors.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with provincial and district authorities to ensure seamless program/project implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and partners to address implementation challenges, offer solutions, and escalate issues when necessary, while documenting lessons learned for future reference.
  • Engage in monitoring and evaluation activities, program/project reviews, and annual assessments to evaluate program/project effectiveness and recommend necessary actions to management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and monitor program/project resource utilization to ensure compliance with approved budgets, organizational regulations, and donor commitments.
  • Promptly report critical issues to management and stakeholders and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare regular program/project reports for management, donors, and partners to keep them informed of progress.
  • Conduct regular field visits, assess progress, and communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders to address challenges and ensure program/project success.
  • Provide operational support to government counterparts, partners, and donors on organizational policies and best practices to enhance program/project implementation.
  • Foster strong partnerships with government counterparts, donors, and stakeholders to facilitate program/project implementation and capacity building.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings/events to align operational planning with broader sectoral development processes.
  • Prepare materials for resource mobilization  and partnership development.
  • Develop communication materials to advocate for program/project initiatives and support fundraising efforts.
  • Identify, synthesize, and share lessons learned to enhance stakeholder capacity and knowledge development.
  • Utilize innovative approaches and promote best practices to ensure efficient and sustainable interventions.
  • Research and report on cutting-edge practices for knowledge product development and systems planning.
  • Serve as a resource person in capacity building initiatives to enhance partner and stakeholder competencies.
  • Any other task as assigned by IHHN’s management.
