Job Description

A PeopleSoft System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of PeopleSoft applications within an organization. This role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of PeopleSoft systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure PeopleSoft application servers, web servers, and process schedulers.
  • Set up and maintain PeopleSoft environments, including development, testing, and production.
  • Perform regular system updates and patches.
  • Upgrade PeopleSoft applications and tools.
  • Ensure compatibility with current technologies and software versions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Optimize PeopleSoft application performance.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure efficient operation.

  • Experience in load balancing is essential for optimizing PeopleSoft application traffic distribution.
  • Proficiency in WebLogic administration is required to ensure seamless operation.
  • Familiarity with SSL certificate management is crucial for securing communication within the PeopleSoft environment.
  • Strong capabilities in database management are necessary for configuring, optimizing, and tuning PeopleSoft databases.
  • Candidates should have experience in the installation and management of PeopleSoft or other ERP systems.
  • Having hands-on experience in PeopleSoft implementation or upgrade projects is a notable bonus.
  • An additional advantage would be expertise in applying, testing, and managing PeopleSoft patches.
