Job Description

will report to Medical Director (MD), and will assist MD in day to day task with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Effective skills in written & verbal communication, analytical & problem solving, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.



MEDICAL SERVICES DASHBOARD:

  1. Compilation and dissemination of Monthly Medical Services Dashboard (MSD) with regards to volumes, cost and quality indicators to ensure implementation of monitoring and evaluation within the Medical Directorate

  2. Analysis and graphical presentation of MSD data in various committees meetings with reasonable extrapolations and sharing with relevant HoDs on regular basis

  3. Data extraction as and when required after due approvals


CONTINUOUS PHYSICIAN ASSESSMENT:

  1. Coordinate with faculty, HoDs and Service Line Chairs for compilation of Advance Work Planning (AWP) before CPA or faculty appraisal

  2. Implement the framework of Continuous Physician Assessemnt (CPA) or faculty appraisals as per direction given by the Medical Directorate


CREDENTIALING AND PRIVILEGING:

  1. Maintaining Faculty PMC record in liaison with HR.

  2. Managing the Faculty Credentialing and Privileging (C&P) across the Medical Directorate to ensure all practicing physicians are appropriately credentialed and privileged.


MEDICAL EDUCATION FUND (MEF):

  1. Execute the Medical Education Fund (MEF) application process and preparation of monthly MEF report in liaison with Finance.

  2. Keeping record of all MEF details and sharing with MD whenever required


MORTALITY AND MORBIDITY MEETINGS:

  1. Review daily morbidity and mortality (M&M) shared by Electronic Medical Record (EMR) department and ensuring HoD input with respect to these cases

  2. Coordinate with Chair M&M committee to ensure peer review of M&M cases

  3. Organize the M&M committee meeting and share its recommendations with MD


CONTROLLED DOCUMENTATION:

  1. Assist faculty in developing departmental policies, SOPs, guidelines and TORs as per approved format ensuring due approvals

  2. Maintain central repository of all medical directorate controlled documents


MEETINGS WITHIN THE MEDICAL DIRECTORATE:

  1. Record keeping of all types of governance meetings being held within the Medical Directorate

  2. Provide a brief analysis of meeting minutes to the MD highlighting persistent or urgent issues


COMMUNICATION:

  1. Communicates internally and externally on behalf of the Medical Directorate, Karachi wherever required.

  2. Compilation of various types of MD reports
