Job Description

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Manage and ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
  • Supervise the operation and maintenance of other mechanical systems and equipment within the facility.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership and technical guidance.
  • Ensure all mechanical systems and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and manage the mechanical maintenance budget, including cost forecasting, expense control, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management of mechanical parts and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and system performance.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on mechanical system performance, maintenance issues, and improvements to senior management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services and repairs, ensuring adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
  • Plan and manage facility upgrades and new construction projects related to mechanical systems, including overseeing installations and integrations.
  • Provide estimates for labor and material costs related to mechanical repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Create and manage annual work plans and schedules for mechanical maintenance.
  • Utilize knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure effective integration and management of HVAC and other mechanical systems.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor/Head of Department.
