Job Descriptions:
- Responsible to perform all requested Ultrasound examinations as ordered by the attending physician
- Responsible to prepares preliminary reports and contacts referring physicians when required, according to established procedures.
- Responsible to coordinates with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided.
- Responsible to address problems of patient care as they arise and makes decisions to appropriately resolve the problems.
- Responsible to Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required.
- Responsible to Assumes responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Radiology area.
- Responsible to Reports equipment failures to the appropriate supervisor or staff member.
- Responsible to Uses independent judgment during the patient exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
- Responsible to Coordinates work schedule with Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage.
- Responsible to Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients.
- Uses initiative to prioritize, deliver and time-manage workload effectively and, when required assists senior staff to plan efficient control of work flow patterns within the department.
- Assesses patients and interprets clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques
- Positions patients safely for examinations and, adapts standard techniques depending on medical/surgical conditions associated with disability, illness or trauma.
- Records imaging identification and patient documentation quickly and accurately and observes protocols to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Rules and Patient’s Confidentiality.
- Assists radiologist and senior staff in complex radiological examinations.
- Analyze images for preliminary findings.
- Maintain patients’ imaging records
- Responsible to perform any other task as assigned by the Supervisor/Head of the Department.
