Job Description
- Assist the Manager Midwifery in overseeing midwifery programs in the PCP sites.
- Support the Midwifery Manager in supervising public health initiatives in all IHHN implementation sites, including Antenatal care, family planning, malnutrition, Safe child birth, postnatal care and other relevant programs.
- Conduct site visits and needs assessments for potential MNCH locations.
- Provide ongoing training, skill assessments, and management for Community Midwives (CMWs).
- Manage data collection and analysis.
- Perform departmental administrative tasks as required.
- Provide Supportive supervisory visits to Midwifery Antenatal Care (ANC) clinics, labor rooms, and family planning services at midwifery-led units.
- Strengthen and engage with referral networks at MNCH program sites within PCP clinics.
- Assist in the development of curriculum and content for Continuing Medical Education (CME) for midwives.
- Liaison with the Midwifery Supervisors and midwives at ANC clinics regularly to ensure provision of quality care services at all sites.
- Collect monthly data, Compile date and presentations as per program need.
- Ensure HMIS functionality and rights of midwives and challenges faced by midwives at all sites timely and coordinate with Program Manager.
