Job Description
- Assists Manager by assigning the work to maintenance employees.
- Performs multiple, technical and non-technical tasks and may need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions and assignments.
- Inspects work for completeness and accuracy according to plans, purposes, etc.
- Determines material, equipment and parts to be used.
- Initiates purchase requisitions and daily reports.
- Responsible for keeping and documenting routine records using Microsoft office.
- Keeps the Manager Maintenance informed of all issues and concerns.
- Coordinates and installs, inspects, repairs and ensures the maintenance of the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical, HVAC and other related systems in all department areas.
- Coordinates or inspects, operates and ensures the heating, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system) in all departments and areas are maintained.
- Conducts general repairs such as painting, patching walls and security hardware (Locks).
- Under the direction of Manager Maintenance, helps to coordinate renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities.
- Attends and satisfactorily completes all training as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
