Job Description
Community Engagement:
- Identify and engage communities in the program’s catchment area.
- Once trained, utilize different community engagement approaches and participatory rural appraisal (PRA) tools to develop and maintain strong relationships with communities in their designated areas.
- Identify stakeholders and facilitators in the communities, conduct regular meetings with them and maintain positive working relationships with them.
- Have a good understanding of the telehealth program and how it operates.
- Works collaboratively and effectively within a team.
- Establish community referrals to the telehealth facility and programs.
- May have to perform other tasks of RN, NA, pharmacy assistant, and receptionist in case needed.
Health Awareness:
- Spread information about the telehealth center in the communities and make referrals accordingly.
- Conduct health awareness sessions in the communities, homes, and in the clinic setting.
- Identify community health needs and information for the core team.
- Travels extensively to community homes, community locations, various NGOs, and other outreach destinations.
- Collect community feedback regarding the services provided by the telehealth center.
- Attend the training sessions and weekly meetings.
Data Reporting:
- Document all the data coming from the field, both qualitative and quantitative, including the stories coming from the community.
- Report progress and weekly updates to the program coordinator.
Miscellaneous Duties:
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Support other departmental public health programs in establishing linkages with the community
- Disease screening
- Willing to travel to different program locations (within and outside the city) when needed.
