Job Description

he PACS Administrator will implement and maintain Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA), multiple 3rd party applications and modality devices.
PACS Administrators manage complex Information System projects/products in order to provide automated solutions that meet business needs. Maintains PACS, VNA, 3rd party applications and modality devices and facilitates updates, new releases and system enhancements. Communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences when necessary. Conducts or participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness. Assists in development and training of existing and new employees. Remains current on programming tools, methodologies and industry standards. On Call required.
Skills Required:
Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists and follow a project plan required. Competent in Microsoft Office required. Strong verbal/written communication and follow up skills required.
