Job Description
The Senior System Engineer - will assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining the hospital's server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. This role will support the Manager - IT Infrastructure in leading the server team and collaborating with various departments to deliver reliable IT services.
- Design, implement, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Ensure server availability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor server resources, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server configuration.
- Implement server security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and industry standards
- Supervise server administrators and engineers.
- Provide training, guidance, and support.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in planning and executing server-related projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Develop and maintain server documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to understand IT requirements.
