Job Description:
A research associate is a professional who conducts research in a specific field, usually in academia or industry. The primary responsibility of a research associate is to assist in conducting research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting the results of the research. The research associate may work under the supervision of a principal investigator, lead scientist, or project manager.
Responsibilities:
· Refining and further managing data, including data entry, cleaning, and quality assurance.
· Preparing and delivering presentations on research findings and results to various stakeholders.
· Conducting basic level data analysis using statistical software.
· Planning field visits and managing tasks on an ad-hoc basis to support research activities.
· Possessing basic knowledge of national-level health programs relevant to the research project.
· Collaborating with other researchers, scientists, and project managers to execute research projects.
· Maintaining accurate records of research protocols, results, and conclusions.
· Preparing reports and manuscripts for publication.
· Contributing to the development of research proposals and grant applications.
· Ensuring compliance with research ethics and regulatory requirements.
