Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Anatomy Lecturer at Indus University of Health Sciences will be responsible for delivering anatomy instruction to students across various IUHS colleges, including the College of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. The candidate will also contribute to the academic community through curriculum development, research, and participation in departmental activities.

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Teaching:

  • Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops
  • Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments, aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Use a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and enhance student engagement.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.

Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and update the Anatomy curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of students in physical therapy and other programs in IUHS.
  • Integrate relevant materials that is essential for healthcare professionals.

Research and Scholarship:

  • Conduct research in the field of physiotherapy or related areas.
  • Publish findings in academic journals and present at conferences.

Student Support:

  • Advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters.
  • Assist students in application of anatomical knowledge into real-life patients.

Departmental and Institutional Participation:

  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other activities.
  • Contribute to the overall academic mission of Indus University of Health Sciences.
