1. Ensure daily maintenance and QA of the following:
- Temperature checks of all equipment.
- Graph maintenance of all fridges, freezers and agitators.
- Match physical blood inventory with BBMIS.
- Review temperatures of temperature data loggers and sign off.
- Perform alarm checks of all storage equipment
2. Perform calibrations of Serofuge, Cell Washer, Cryofuge, IDS Instrument and Bio Mixer.
3. Validation of Eutectic plates.
4. Review of Hemoglobin meter QA data.
5. Perform product QC including:
- Red cells.
- Platelets.
- Fresh Frozen Plasma
6. Must be able to write SOP’s.
7. Perform data collection of incidence occurrence, complaints and for trend analysis.
8. Participate in “Accreditation as a Team Member”.
