Experience

Pre-entry work experience in a implementing health projects, hospital management, a pharmaceutical company or in development-related occupation with additional experience related to immunization projects/cold chain management would be advantageous; AND/OR 13 to 15 years of experience.

Education

Masters in a related field or MBBS.

Job Description


 Supervising and controlling the following aspects of Project

·        Manage project budget, ensuring alignment with IHHN’s & donor’s financial guidelines.

·        Planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities as per the agreements with sub-grantees, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance with donor guidelines.

·        Provide strategic oversight to sub-grantees, ensuring high-quality program planning, implementation and performance.

·    Ensuring Activity monitoring, Policies/SOPs and KPIs are in place and the same are being monitored on a regular basis and corrective actions taken.

·        Establish performance indicators and conduct periodic evaluations of sub-grantee activities, while ensuring that deadlines are met.

·     Preparation of review of data analysis, quality Progress Reports and timely sharing with donor and IHNN’s Senior Management.

·        Develop and execute project strategies in alignment with national and provincial immunization policies.

·       Liase with and conduct high-level meetings with Donor & other stakeholders to enhance immunization service delivery.

·        Engage with provincial and district health authorities for technical and policy-level support.

  Organize and facilitate dissemination workshops for Project related best practices and lessons learnt at Provincial level.

·   Ensure compliance with donor and Indus Hospital & Health Network protocols for immunization service delivery.

·     Ensure effective deployment and management of human resources, including Community health workers, vaccinators, and volunteers.

·        Supervise the operational rollout of immunization services across targeted districts.

·        Coordinate with government stakeholders (EPI, DoH, PPHI), donors, and partners to streamline project implementation.

·        Ensuring each position under the span of control is manned with the efficient and productive resource.

·        Personnel counseling and mentorship through facilitation in trainings and on job coaching of project staff

·        Any other task assigned by the Supervisor or management

 

ADDITIONAL TASKS THAT NEED TO BE PERFORMED AT THIS DESIGNATION:

·        Involvement in the planning and execution of the new initiatives.

·        Represent Indus at various forums, platforms and institutions.

·        Lead large-scale health interventions, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and handle stakeholder relations.
