Job Description
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Implement and maintain quality assurance programs for clinical laboratories.
Ensure compliance with national and international laboratory standards (e.g., ISO 15189, CAP, JCIA).
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for outreach laboratories.
Monitor adherence to internal quality control and external quality assessment programs.
Audits & Inspections:
Conduct regular internal audits of outreach laboratories to assess compliance with quality standards.
Identify gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Assist in preparing laboratories for external audits and accreditation assessments.
Process Improvement & Training:
Identify process inefficiencies and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Train laboratory personnel on quality standards, SOPs, and best practices.
Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs.
Data Management & Reporting:
Collect and analyze quality indicators and laboratory performance data.
Prepare reports on non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Present findings to the Quality Management Team and relevant stakeholders.
