Job Description

The Lecturer at Indus University of Health Sciences will be responsible for delivering physiotherapy subjects (theoretical and practical instructions) to students in the College of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. The candidate will also contribute to the academic community through curriculum development, research, and participation in departmental activities. 

·         Teaching:

o    Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops

o    Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments, aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.

o    Use a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and enhance student engagement.

o    Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.

·         Curriculum Development:

o    Collaborate with colleagues to review and update the DPT curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of students in physical therapy and other programs in IUHS.

o    Integrate relevant materials that is essential for healthcare professionals.

·         Research and Scholarship:

o    Conduct research in the field of physiotherapy or related areas.

o    Publish findings in academic journals and present at conferences.



·         Student Support:

o    Advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters.

o    Assist students in application of anatomical knowledge into real-life patients.


·         Departmental and Institutional Participation:

o    Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other activities.

o    Contribute to the overall academic mission of Indus University of Health Sciences.
