Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:.

• Perform microbiological tests and identify microorganisms.
• Conduct antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST).
• Operate and maintain microbiology lab equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of infectious materials.
• Follow CAP, ISO, and hospital infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality control programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and support lab accreditation activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques.
• Familiarity with CAP, ISO, and quality control guidelines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
