Job Description
- Should be fully aware of the mission statement of The Indus Hospital & Health Network and maintains team spirit within the department.
- Manage and ensure the computerized inventory system is properly maintained.
- Direct various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal, disciplinary actions, staffing schedules and employee development.
- Conduct trainings for junior staff.
- Ensure Compliance of SOPs & Process flows.
- Maintain financial reports and records pertinent to store operations.
- Ensure goods and stock are properly handled, placed, and segregated category-wise for identification.
- Ensure goods are correctly issued to concerned departments on FIFO/FEFO basis, as approved and documented.
- Ensure physical stock is maintained as optimum levels determined by monthly consumption and present stock.
- Ensure all material is properly handled during loading, unloading and transportation.
- Advise the management of current support status, and make recommendations for the resolution of internal problems or scheduling inconsistencies. Coordinate Senior Manager Supply Chain/HOC immediately in case of any discrepancy or information related to store.
- Perform all tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
- Manage the proper documentation and activities for receiving loan from specific supplier, and issue loan to specific suppliers as per procedure.
- Manage activity sheets and KPIs of all store staff.
- Ensure Short expiry management.
- Manage & review of Slow moving / fast moving / dead stock identification & management
- Manage the proper disposal of condemned items, after inspection and approval of Condemnation Committee.
- Manage & Continuous review of inventory management system. Identifying loop holes and their solutions for improving overall systems.
