Job Description

Job Summary:

The Lift Supervisor will manage and supervise the daily operations of the lift department, ensuring the maintenance, and repair of lift systems. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of lift technicians and ensuring that all safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures are followed efficiently and effectively.


Educational Qualifications:

· Matriculation certificate or equivalent certificate required.

· Technical certifications or diplomas in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical or electrical engineering, or lift-specific courses) are preferred.


Communication & Technical Skills:

· Strong ability to communicate effectively with a medical staff, patients, including team members, contractors, and senior management.

· In-depth understanding of lift/elevator technology, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in hospital settings.

· Ability to diagnose faults and repair lift systems quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.

· Prepare periodic reports for hospital management about lift usage, operational status, and any maintenance or repairs completed.


Work Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate the work of lift technicians and operators, ensuring that daily tasks are completed on time and according to safety standards.

· Monitor team performance, providing coaching, guidance, and training as required.

· Monitor lift operations to ensure smooth and efficient running, addressing any issues or delays promptly.

· Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed, and all lifts are in good working condition

· Ensure proper documentation of all lift inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and incidents.

· Provide reports on lift system performance to senior management, including recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
