Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs and educational materials for blood center staff, volunteers, and donors.

Conduct orientation sessions and refresher training for new and existing employees on blood collection, storage, and transfusion protocols.

Organize community awareness campaigns and educational outreach programs to encourage voluntary blood donation.

Collaborate with medical, technical, and administrative departments to ensure consistent messaging and compliance with safety standards.

Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and performance assessments.

Stay updated with the latest guidelines and best practices in blood donation and transfusion medicine.

Assist in the preparation of reports related to education and training activities.

Support recruitment and retention of voluntary donors through education and engagement initiatives.

Coordinate with external agencies, hospitals, and community organizations for joint awareness programs.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement within the blood center.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related field.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to design educational content and training modules.

Knowledge of blood donation procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
