Experience
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) in health or community development programs.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Development Studies, Public Policy or any other Social/Management Sciences discipline.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Quality Assurance
- Monitor the implementation of CHDs program interventions (e.g., awareness, outreach, service delivery) against approved strategies and MEL frameworks.
- Conduct field monitoring visits, document findings, identify implementation gaps and facilitate corrective action plans.
- Validate, triangulate and ensure the accuracy of field-level data in real-time to inform programming.
Results-Based Monitoring & Frameworks
- Support the design and operationalization of results frameworks, theory of change documents (ToC), logframes and performance measurement systems.
- Track progress against results and outcome indicators (e.g., immunization, TB detection, ANC coverage).
Data Management and Use
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection, entry, cleaning and storage across all program sites.
- Oversee digital data collection platforms (e.g., RedCap, KOBO, HMIS) and maintain a centralized M&E database and documentation hub for reporting and analytics.
Evaluations and Assessments
- Coordinate baseline, midline and endline assessments and contribute to evaluation design and implementation.
- Support data analysis and the preparation of evaluation reports, ensuring findings are translated into clear recommendations.
Learning, Reporting & Knowledge Management
- Produce M&E reports, donor reports and learning products including case studies, learning briefs and success stories.
- Facilitate periodic learning sessions and after-action reviews to support adaptive programming.
- Synthesize insights from M&E data to enhance service delivery strategies.
Technical & Strategic Support
- Contribute to proposal development by drafting MEL components, indicators and ToCs aligned with evidence and field needs.
