Key Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt an SBCC strategy tailored to community needs and cultural context to address immunization barriers.
- Identify target audiences, behavioral determinants, and key messaging for zero-dose and under-immunized children.
- Develop a work plan aligned with Immunization Schedule timelines for the districts and follow it.
- Manage all SBCC and advocacy activities in the districts under the supervision of Program lead
- Implement, monitor, and report on SBCC and advocacy activities following provided guidelines and training.
- Determine training needs of the staff and train frontline workers, community mobilizers, and local health staff on interpersonal communication and community engagement.
- Carry out field visits to support and monitor SBCC in all districts.
- Develop tools and establish a mechanism for recording all SBCC-and advocacy related activities during the project duration.
- Identify key indicators on SBCC data.
- SBCC data analysis and tailoring the training modules on the basis of data outcome/data findings.
- Provide regular feed back on SBCC & advocacy activities to Program lead on a regular basis.
- Ensure timely provision of all SBCC related material in all districts.
- Document all SBCC and advocacy activities conducted throughout the project period in all districts and compile these in a comprehensive report with quality photographs.
- Any other task as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: Masters in Communication, Social Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
- SBCC and advocacy related experience is a definite plus.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
