Job Description

The Consultant will be responsible for providing the highest level of clinical care and expertise. He/she may be assigned postgraduate teaching and specified administrative activities. 

  • Responsible to collect record and maintain patient’s information as medical histories, reports, examination results. Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialist, therapists and other medical staff.
  • Responsible to treat disease of female organs.
  • Responsible to Care for and treat women during pre-natal, natal, post-natal period.
  • Responsible to prescribe or administer therapy, medication and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury.
  • Responsible to perform medical procedures and other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patient’s health and deliver babies safely.
  • Responsible to analyze records, reports, test results or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.
  • Responsible to explain procedure and discuss test results or prescribed treatment with patients.
  • Responsible to monitor patient condition and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Responsible to advice patients and community members concerning diet, hygiene and disease prevention.
  • Responsible to plan, implement or administer health programs in hospital.
  • Responsible to prepare government and organizational reports on birth, death and disease statistics.
  • Responsible to evaluate workforce of medical staff individual.
  • Conduct research to develop or treat medications, treatments or procedures to prevent or control disease or anything.
