Job Description
- Provide patient care and management under the close supervision of Family Medicine and Infectious Disease faculty.
- Perform rotations in other clinic service areas as assigned.
- Liaise with Infectious Disease consultants to ensure optimal patient management and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain physical and electronic records of patients during outpatient department (OPD) visits.
- Offer medical support to team members to facilitate efficient and effective management of patients.
- Document patients' medical information in a comprehensive, clear, and standardized format.
- Ensure proper handover and follow-up for patients referred to or from other departments or facilities.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and polite approach during all patient encounters to foster trust and satisfaction.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and educational sessions to stay updated with medical advancements.
- Assist in the implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and contribute to a safe clinical environment. ·
- Support public health and preventive care initiatives, including health education and awareness campaigns.
- Comply with the institutional dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Undertake any other clinical or administrative responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
