Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate stock levels of both general and medical items.
Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of all incoming goods.
Ensure proper storage of items as per category (temperature control for medicines, segregation of consumables, etc.).
Regularly update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System or Manual Stock Registers.
Conduct physical stock counts periodically (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
Issuance & Receiving:
Issue items to departments as per approved requisitions and consumption norms.
Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward stock movement.
Ensure First Expiry First Out (FEFO) / First In First Out (FIFO) principles are followed, especially for medical inventory.
Compliance & Record Keeping:
Ensure all warehousing operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Keep documentation ready for audits and inspections.
Manage batch numbers, expiry dates, and lot tracking for pharmaceutical inventory.
Coordination:
Coordinate with procurement, pharmacy, and administration teams for stock replenishment.
Liaise with transport and logistics teams to manage deliveries and dispatches.
