Experience

Job Summery: The Program Manager – Lung Health Program oversees programmatic, research, administrative, operational, and financial activities, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives. Key responsibilities include stakeholder coordination, team management, budget oversight, field site visits, and fostering a research-driven culture. The role also involves strategic planning, grant writing, donor reporting, liaising with the provincial government, identifying funding opportunities, and managing multi-site work plans, budgets, and reports to support and strengthen lung health initiatives. This position will work closely with the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization and the Primary Care Program of the Community Health Directorate at the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN).
- Oversee the implementation of key programmatic and research components of Lung Health Program.
- Effective liaison with internal (e.g. within IHHN) and external stakeholders (e.g. funders) and provincial government stakeholders.
- Organizing program and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization and development of plans based on challenges implementation of the services.
- Good grasp of research principles, data management science and participation in the research-oriented culture of the program.
- Managing a team with diverse array of the talents and responsibilities.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of team members and field work through training and regular monitoring.
- Conduct routine site visits to cover the intervention sites and troubleshooting regularly.
- Provide input into the conceptual direction of the lung health program, including contribution to writing appropriate grant applications, and identifying funding opportunities for LHP research and activities.
- Work with the program team to synthesize work plans, timelines, budgets and reporting and across multiple sites.
- Work closely with the Human Resources, Finance, Administration & Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain, Information Technology, and Bio-Medical departments at Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN).
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor and line Manager.
