Job Description

In order to strengthen our capacity for timely response during emergencies, IHHN is developing an Emergency Roster of qualified professionals across all provinces, district-wise.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Once MHO is trained, conduct quality MH mass screening for Depression & Anxiety at both and community levels.
  • Provide Lay counseling and Psychosocial Support to individuals & and families found with Anxiety/Depression at the facility level or community levels.
  • Provide Mental Health Psychosocial Support and Lay counseling to individuals & and family crisis/disaster/emergency or Catastrophe situation.
  • Maintain excellent records of client counseling progress/treatment progress.
  • Establish a safe secure and positive environment for people to discuss their issues.
  • Make home visits only if required.
  • Conduct community mobilization activities, as required, for awareness-raising sessions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patients, conversations, referrals, etc.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, training courses, and capacity-building sessions.
  • Regular Calling up the patients for Follow-up.
  • Works collaboratively and effectively within a team.
  • Properly Document all the client's data, both qualitative and quantitatively including the stories.
  • Report all progress and daily updates to the supervising Psychologist.
  • Timely share Daily activity reports in dedicated groups, weekly and monthly report.
  • Timely data entered on assigned DATA APP or any programmatic data medium.
