Job Description
- Plan and supervise the maintenance activities for a facility, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively
- Create and maintain a preventative maintenance program that minimizes downtime and maximizes equipment reliability
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance work orders, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the required standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, and promote a safe work environment for all maintenance staff
- Coordinate with staff to minimize disruptions to operations and ensure that maintenance activities do not impact production schedules
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and mentoring as needed to ensure a high level of technical expertise and skill within the team
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed, including equipment history, maintenance logs, and inventory levels
- Manage a budget for the maintenance department, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
