Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for academic departments and programs.
  • Monitor academic-related expenditures and ensure compliance with the approved budgets.
  • Work closely with academic leadership to understand financial needs & provide cost analysis where needed.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for academic initiatives and also compiling slides for monthly progress review meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of faculty compensation, adjunct payments, and teaching allowances.
  • Coordinating with IT team on software implementation and providing support on need basis.
  • Ensure timely processing of academic vendor invoices, honorariums, and reimbursements.
  • Support audits by providing academic finance data and reconciliation reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including admissions, HR, and procurement to support academic operations.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and financial regulations


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software (Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with academic financial policies and practices (advantageous)
