Job Description
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of program activities in assigned districts.
- Ensure alignment of field operations with the approved work plan, targets, and reporting timelines.
- Support district staff in planning and executing community mobilization, service delivery sessions, and outreach activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, community leaders, government departments, and other NGOs to ensure smooth coordination and problem solving
- Oversee and monitor the implementation, quality, reach, and outcomes of SBCC interventions, including community sessions, advocacy events, and social media campaigns, through regular field visits and feedback mechanisms.
- Support the Program Manager in drafting and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and donor reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Document and compile field challenges, lessons learned, best practices, and success stories, including case studies, photographs, and evidence of project achievements for reporting and learning purposes.
- Ensure timely submission and proper maintenance of district-level reports and a centralized repository of all project documents.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, set performance targets, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Identify capacity gaps and organize training or mentoring as needed.
- Represent the organization at district / provincial level coordination meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, beneficiaries, and expenditures.
- Conduct regular supportive supervision visits to field sites.
- Facilitate learning and sharing sessions among district teams to enhance performance.
