Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in M&E, research, performance monitoring or data systems within public health or development sectors. • Hands-on experience with data collection tools and digital platforms. • Proven experience working with government health facilities, district health offices, or community-based programs.
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, Data Science, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies or related discipline. • Professional training in Monitoring & Evaluation, data management, qualitative research, or accountability mechanisms preferred.
Job Description
Task & Responsibilities:
- Carry out the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning activities as per the Performance Management framework aligned with project indicators and outputs across all outcome areas.
- Formulate project specific data collection tools, collate data, analyse and track progress against defined indicators for evidence generation and using the same for improved implementation.
- Tracking project timelines and deliverables against the approved workplan, highlighting delays or risks
- Support Community Health Directorate (CHD) MEAL Team in generating robust evidence and facilitate its use for learning, reflection and adaptive programming.
- Work closely with DHO Office, BHUs and project teams to ensure timely, complete and gender-disaggregated data.
- Act as district focal point for community feedback and accountability mechanisms, including grievance redress and participatory reviews.
- Facilitate joint learning and reflection meetings with field teams and district authorities to inform project implementation
- Prepare monthly progress summaries/reports, dashboards and support data collection for assessment, reviews and evaluations.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to health facilities, BHUs and communities to verify progress, service quality and compliance with project standards.
- Support the Director MEAL in preparing periodic donor reports, dashboards and evidence products for advocacy and learning
- Ensure compliance with donor MEL protocols and WaterAid reporting format.
