Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health program coordination, MNCH initiatives, or midwifery training supervision.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in public health, Health Management, Nursing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Job Description
- Serve as the main project focal person in Quetta, representing the program and maintaining close coordination with District Health Teams, IRC, and Indus program leadership.
- Liaise regularly with the Technical Lead, Program Manager, HR, Admin, and Training teams at Indus for all operational updates and support requirements.
- Review and finalize trainee lists in consultation with district stakeholders, ensuring compliance with selection criteria.
- Coordinate with the lead midwifery school and nominate CMWs regarding training schedules, logistics, travel arrangements, and follow-up from departure to return.
- Organize and facilitate provincial and district-level training sessions, review meetings, and coordinate events.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration among CMWs, district health authorities, and program teams to support timely and effective implementation.
- Track trainee participation, attendance, and progress, and prepare regular field updates and performance reports.
- Identify operational or logistical challenges and proactively coordinate solutions with the Indus project team.
- Represent the project in provincial coordination meetings, review forums, and technical discussions with government and partners.
