Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (MBA/MPA/MHRM). Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, CHRP, or equivalent) is an advantage

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Humam Resources will be responsible for supervising and controlling the following aspects of people management at the campus level:

  1. STRATEGIC HR MANAGEMENT
  • Support the Head of HR in developing and executing the hospital's HR strategy and annual HR plan.
  • Leading and managing the HR team at campus level, ensuring it is qualified, well-trained, and capable of meeting the job requirement.
  • Train, guide, and supervise HR team under span of control, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Ensuring departmental and individuals' performance KPIs are in place and the same are being monitored on regular basis and corrective actions taken, including personnel counselling and mentorship.
  • Ensuring adequate and appropriate segregation of duties from internal controls perspective are in place.
  • Ensure adherence with the HR authorities' matrix towards effective and efficient internal controls and ensuring compliance thereof.
  • Fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders, including all directorates and HoD's to support high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute towards development of a robust HR digital modules and systems (HMIS/HRMS).
  • Drive organizational culture initiatives that support employee engagement and service excellence.
  • Align HR initiatives with organizational goals and accreditation standards (ISO 9001, JCIA, etc.).
  • Lead HR projects related to process improvement, automation, and workforce optimization.
  1. WORKFORCE PLANNING AND TALENT MANAGEMENT
  • Perform workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with department heads.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and retention strategies to maintain a stable workforce.
  • Ensure timely and effective recruitment and selection processes for all clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and specialized healthcare positions.
  • To provide functional support to campus management for preparation of yearly/new projects HR budgets, regular monitoring of utilization versus approved budgets liaise with HR Finance.
  • Ensuring that the HR costing mechanism in place enables correct costing of services being rendered.
  • Devises strategies and ensures implementation of cost control measures in the assigned areas.
  1. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND COMPLIANCE
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and exit management as per approved policies and protocols.
  • Ensure all standing committees as required by the law are formulated and functional in campuses including anti-workplace harassment and disciplinary proceedings committee according to approved ToR's.
  • Foster a positive and compliant work environment that adheres to labor laws, institutional policies, and ethical standards.
  • Ensure HR operations comply with Pakistan labor laws, institutional policies, and audit standards. 
  1. LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
  • Lead the learning & development activities; oversee the training design and delivery of staff training programs and take initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Quality & Monitoring Directorate to ensure HR-related QMS training supports accreditation and QMS standards.
  • Identify training needs and oversee the execution of the annual training plan and monthly learning bulletin.
  • Coordinate capacity-building programs in collaboration with the management and external trainers.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and its impact on employee performance.
  1. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
  • Ensure timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee welfare programs.
  • Participate in compensation reviews and benchmarking exercises with the regional office.
  • Ensure equity in employees salaries by positions, bands and as per the position's benchmark and ranges. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in HR data and payroll management.
  1. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems and ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency.
  • Support line managers and HoD's in setting KPIs and evaluating employee performance.
  • Link performance outcomes with training and career development plans.
  • Plan and implement employee engagement and recognition programs.
  1. QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Ensure documentation, and record-keeping comply with internal/external audits and QMS (ISO 9001:2015) standards.
  • Drive continual improvement and risk management in HR processes for improved employee experience.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies, Sops, quality objectives, and improvement plans.
  • Lead HR risk and opportunity assessments and contribute to continual improvement initiatives
  • Foster a positive organizational culture focused on teamwork, respect, integrity and people-centric approach.
  1. OTHER TASKS

Perform any other task assigned by the administrative and functional heads and/or by the management that commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
