Job Description
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams as prescribed by physicians
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process in a clear, reassuring manner
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists
Maintain patient records and imaging documentation accurately
Ensure proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of imaging equipment
Comply with hospital/clinic policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations
Assist radiologists during special procedures (e.g., biopsies, localization) if required
