Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Lift Operator to operate and maintain the lift system to transport patients, staff, and equipment across different floors. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of lifts, maintain safety protocols, and assist in the transportation of critical medical supplies and patients within the hospital environment.

Educational Qualifications:

· Matriculation certificate or equivalent (required ).

· DAE ( Mechanical / Electrical) or Any Technical Training certificate will be preferred

Communication & Technical Skills:

· Teamwork and Coordination: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, hospital staff & patient, or construction crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.

· Reporting Skills: Capability to report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns and document daily operations as required.

· Understanding of Load Limits: Ability to calculate weight limits and determine the safe handling capacity of lifting equipment.

Work Experience:

· 0–2 years of experience may be required, if the operator needs to handle patients lifts, coordinate with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate various types of lifting equipment (e.g., Passenger lift, Cargo lift & service lift) to move materials and goods safely within the facility or construction site.

· Safely operate passenger and freight lifts to transport patients, medical staff, and equipment to various floors of the hospital as needed.

· Transport and move medical equipment, including heavy machinery, supplies, and medications, to appropriate departments or locations within the hospital.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to promote safety and efficiency

· Monitor and control the lifting of heavy materials, ensuring weight limits are not exceeded and proper handling techniques are used.

· Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the hospital’s operational hours and needs.
