Job Description
The Firefighter is responsible for responding to fire emergencies, ensuring quick and effective extinguishment, and minimizing risk to life and property. This role includes conducting routine fire safety inspections, maintaining fire safety equipment, and participating in training and emergency drills to ensure preparedness.
- Respond immediately to fire alarms and other emergency situations.
- Operate firefighting equipment such as hose reels and fire extinguishers to control and extinguish fires.
- Assist in the safe evacuation of patients during fire emergencies and ensure designated areas are clear and safe.
- Firefighters administer first aid and other assistance to fire victims.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of firefighting equipment, ensuring all tools and safety gear are in working condition all the times.
- Report any malfunctioning of equipment or safety hazards to the Fire & Safety Supervisor for immediate action.
- Document inspections and maintenance activities as required.
