Job Description


The cook outlines responsibilities for preparing the nutritional meals for patients, staff and visitors, adhering to dietary requirements, safety protocols, and hygiene standards while also managing inventory and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

  • Ensure timely food preparation /production for patients, attendants and staff in accordance with required portions/ quantities and in accordance with established menu cycle days.
  • To ensure good quality food is cooked, ingredients are examined before cooking and food is safely prepared.
  • Follow standardized recipes and food and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality to serve food during breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
