Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect blood and other specimens as per doctor’s request and ensure timely ward collections.

• Generate IRS, confirm specimen collection, and reject samples that do not meet SOP criteria.

• Maintain phlebotomy equipment, perform monthly analyzer maintenance, and report issues to Biomedical/Engineering teams.

• Ensure proper sharp disposal and maintain cleanliness of the phlebotomy and collection areas.

• Maintain weekly stock levels and ensure availability of all consumables.

• Accurately maintain collection data and follow all safety, infection control, and SOP guidelines.

• Participate in blood donation camps and outreach drives to perform donor blood collection as per blood bank SOPs.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Matriculation/ Intermediate
• Experience: 03 - 05 years as a Phlebotomist
• Work Shift: Morning, Evening and Night (Rotational)
• Location: Karachi
