Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze laboratory findings, including hematological analysis of blood and body fluids (CSF and special hematology tests).
- Calibrate and operate all instruments in the Hematology Lab.
- Run quality controls on a daily basis, review LJ plots, run EQA, and interpret results.
- Inform all abnormal results to the concerned doctor/consultant/staff and ensure proper storage of such samples.
- Issue reports, reject or repeat tests as required based on SOPs.
- Perform daily consumption of inventory and maintain stock of kits, consumables, and data.
- Conduct weekly/monthly maintenance of analyzers and coordinate with suppliers’ Biomedical Engineers in case of errors.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. / MLT / BS / MS in Biological Sciences
- Experience: 02-03 years as Technologist - Hematology (Required)
- Job Shift: Rotational (Morning, Evening & Night)
- Location: Korangi Crossing, Karachi
