Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and other specimens as per doctor’s request and ensure timely ward collections.
- Generate IRS, confirm specimen collection, and reject samples that do not meet SOP criteria.
- Maintain phlebotomy equipment, perform monthly analyzer maintenance, and report issues to Biomedical/Engineering teams.
- Ensure proper sharp disposal and maintain cleanliness of the phlebotomy and collection areas.
- Maintain weekly stock levels and ensure availability of all consumables.
- Accurately maintain collection data and follow all safety, infection control, and SOP guidelines.
- Participate in blood donation camps and outreach drives to perform donor blood collection as per blood bank SOPs.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification: Matriculation/ Intermediate
- Experience: 02 - 03 years as a Phlebotomist
- Work Shift: Morning, Evening and Night (Rotational)
- Location: Karachi
