Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and special molecular tests, analyze laboratory findings, ensure result accuracy, and repeat/reject tests as per SOPs.
- Run internal quality controls and EQA with interpretation, follow infection control and ISO guidelines, and ensure adherence to all SOPs.
- Calibrate and operate molecular lab instruments, perform routine/periodic maintenance, maintain logs, and coordinate with biomedical teams for troubleshooting.
- Handle proper storage of samples (including abnormal), issue reports, and promptly communicate critical results to concerned doctors/consultants.
- Monitor inventory consumption, maintain stock and indents, manage data records, and support training of juniors/trainees.
Job Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc./MLT/ BS/MS in Biological Sciences
- 01 - 03 years of clinical lab technologist experience within Molecular Biology
- Shift: Rotational Duty (Morning/Evening/Night)
- Location: Korangi Crossing, Karachi
